Product Creative Systems

As part of the product design and development for the new Discovery+ and our 18 DiscoveryGO applications, our teams were tasked with updating the entire library of creative assets to work within the new designs and systems. With over 60,000 episodes and 5000+ series for launch, we took the opportunity to not only create dynamic libraries, but also develop series and episodic artwork to be used across 20 different platforms and outlets including Apple, Roku, Google, Samsung and FireTV Systems.

Dynamic Creative and Brand Systems are critical when focusing on the customers needs and tailoring for various screens, experiences and personalization engines. Developing these systems is a key extension of the brand, and user experience. Over 120,000 graphics were developed to be used globally and extend the library to kids, sports, news and other genres.

The Product Creative is an integral part of the customer experience and needs to be well thought out, scalable and extensible. Customers are more likely to remember and respond to a visual quickly, and cognitive recall is more consistent across surfaces, platforms and experiences. A well constructed system library can be easily translated and localized for cultural sensitivities and more strategically mobilized for different customer journey touch points to increase engagement.
